If you’re looking to decorate your outdoor space for Independence Day, there are countless options available to you (in red, white and blue, of course).
While at least one American Flag is a must, try decorating with individual red, white and blue accents instead of buying everything covered in stars and stripes (for instance, you could decorate your table spread with white plates, red napkins and blue napkin weights for an understated 4th of July look).
For lighting, consider some outdoor string lights. These will light up your space, add character, and are a safe alternative to candles and torches. However, if you do decide to go with candles, make sure that you cover them with glass to avoid hazards and to prevent the wind from blowing them out.
And no Independence Day party would be complete without sparklers for the kids, so don’t forget to pick some up!
