21st Annual G&B Golf Tournament
On Thursday, September 5, 2013, G & B Energy, in partnership with Wells Fargo, will host its 21st annual Irons in the Fire Golf Tournament benefiting the Yadkin Valley United Fund.
The tournament held at Cedarbrook Country Club in Elkin, N.C., will be a FOUR-MAN captain’s choice format with a 11:30am shotgun start. Fresh grilled food and cold beverage selections will be available at numerous locations on the course, featuring beer-boiled shrimp, steamed and raw oysters, hot dogs with all the fixings, chicken wings, smoked sausages, pork barbeque and roast beef. Players will also receive a $10.00 clubhouse bar credit. Each player will be entered into a drawing featuring numerous prizes including a grand prize of $1,000 cash.
It is only through your kind contribution and participation that we can make this year’s tournament successful. Over the past eighteen-years, your generous support has enabled us to raise over $369,500 for the Yadkin Valley United Fund and MDA.
We hope you will be able to enter one or more teams in the tournament and have enclosed an entry form for your completion. You should be entitled to a charitable contribution deduction for a portion of the entry fee. Additional entry forms are available from our Elkin office or you can make copies of the enclosed form.
Unlike previous years, there is a single tee time limiting the field to 30 teams. Please return your completed entry form and payment as soon as possible to insure that you don’t miss out on this year’s festivities. Paid entries will be honored on a first-come basis. The entry fee this year includes 1 Mulligan, Skins game entry, a chance to win several prizes and $1,000 cash. Only registered players are eligible for the prize drawings.
